Thank you sir! I thought of UMM as well and just ordered 0.10, 0.16, 0.20 and 0.22mm wiring. That should fill the gap below the 0.010 inch (0.25mm) lead wiring that I have.

Sorry Bruce not commenting your great posts the previous days due to a busy business trip to Sweden.

I just want to say, have been following every day and so impressed to read the posts and watch the visually wonderful picture of the build!

Kari,

Thank you! I really appreciate your friendship and support. I follow along with your Instagram photos. I notice the unique way you compose with foreground information presented off to one side, which gives such a great spatial depth to the imagery.

Indeed, following your work online is a privilege I am grateful to have.

Best of luck in Sweden with business. I look forward to your return to these pages avidly! There is much red paint to sling and one day I hope to see your 1/32 Lightning come to life...

I still am unable to find a 1/32 Revell P-51D! I admit to only checking with three online stores. I came close to buying the Zoukei Mura in a kind of bratty little kid’s “anti” phase of rebellion against conformity, if that makes sense.

I really LIKE THIS HASEGAWA. It may be old and paneled with raised lines, but the fit so far is exemplary. Truly.

I would just wait until it is in stock at Sprue Brothers. Revell just got bought so maybe the supply chain will get solidified.

Thanks, John! I’m on the wait list. However both times I received a green “In Stock” status update, the kit was sold out by the time I signed in to the site. Bad timing. A hot seller. I’m glad if it’s popular as that may mean more kits!

I ordered Roy “The Barracuda” Sutherland’s resin cockpit upgrade because he has the control stick and the gunsight in addition to the telecommunications and battery boxes. I basically have a Roy Sutherland resin cockpit minus sidewalls going inside this kit, with a Yahu Instrument Panel. I could have gone “Full Barracuda” with his IP, but life is short and Yahu was cheaper.

I logged on to LSP and checked out a really beautiful new Revell kit build. Out of box. The cockpit was amazingly detailed. And I grit my teeth. A little.
