Re: Here Kitty Kitty - Tamiya Leopard A4
Congratulations! You just made my day! Great seeing your work come together and be on the ready line for color. What kind of primer will you be using?

Make more models!

I will be using Tamiya Liquid Surface Primer in Gray. Let the airbrushing begin...
Tomorrow though actually.

Wow, I thought I had subscribed to this but apparently it didn't take. Now I've gone through and gotten caught up. This is a fun build to watch; I love Leopards and seeing all the additional pics and vids has really made reading this Thread a blast! Excellent work Carlos! I'm enjoying this!
Oh, and I'll be missing the AMPS meeting this May; IPMS OC is doing a Make-n-Take at the Fullerton Airport Days that same day and I volunteered to help out. By the time I get finished over there and get over to the AMPS meeting; I'll have missed three quarters of it.
Keep plugging man, this is coming along fast and well.

That's a superb looking Tank Carlos - great work on those additions! I've always a pleasure to see your armor builds.
The Leopard is such a great looking Tank.
Cheers!

Re: Here Kitty Kitty - Tamiya Leopard A4
Mark... you dog... no AMPS?! You’re killing me Smalls!
Just playing! Have fun with the make and take out at Fullerton. I guess I’ll see you in June at AMPS or IPMS. I’ll probably pass on the May IPMS as it’s only a build nite so...
Stuart, thank you for your kind words. And I gotta agree about the looks of the Leopard. Of all the NATO 105mm gun tanks, I would rate the Leopard 1A4 and early M1 up there for best looking. Certainly more handsome than the Centurion or M60 families. Low, sleek, and very predatory.

Re: Here Kitty Kitty - Tamiya Leopard A4
Hey Carlos, it was not my choice. Blame Fullerton Airport! LOL! I also hate that AMPS schedules their meetings on St. Crispin's Hobby Day all the time too. I would love to see you reconsider coming to IPMS; I'd love to see your work. And you might get done with more than you expected to. I love build nights! I could bring everything that day that you want to see too. Oh well, your call.
Looking forward to seeing more.
