
Interestingly, the flat clear did nothing whatsoever to tame the black pastel dust which I brushed into the firewall’s various and sundry nooks and crannies:

I’m happy with how these both have turned out.
I also shot some gloss clear at the mounts. Once that’s dry I’ll give them a nice wash. Then a flat coat. Then some dust, and another flat coat. After that I’ll assemble them all together, and that’ll complete Step #1!
