Stuart, I find coffee rings on sketchbook pages all the time and I am never sure that I left them there or not, to be honest! You should share your drawings!

But the artist who does the local influence stuff is Stan Vosberg. The F4U painting is probably my favorite of his work. The pier in the background, Balboa Pier, I am quite familiar with.
This is the artist’s website for more good stuff...

That’d look real nice in my office, Carlos.

Kenny, it would look great anywhere I think. I first came across that print at a shop not far from the pier in the painting. I was gorgeous to see in person on a nice big frame. It certainly made an impression on me.
Anyways in keeping with the Mustang theme here, this is his work on the Mustang at the old NAA factory in Inglewood... now known as LAX....

Beautiful painting... evokes a different era, which is so cool.
I've always loved Jack Leynnwood and the old Revell box art since it brings back memories of my childhood. From the modern box art artists, Shigeo Koike's work is very pleasing to my eye...

Those are great paintings John.
I've always liked Michael Turner.

I've not really done any serious drawings for years (mainly of birds) and I'm not sure you guys would want to see my pitiful scrawlings!

I've not heard of Leynnwood but those are really nice - they look like the covers of the Commando comics I used to read.
Roy Cross is awesome!
