Hey Kenny X, just a thought—you might consider trying the time-honored Tamiya tape with bent wire method instead of decals. This is on my list of Basic Techniques to practice. Also, I agree with Carlos’s suggestion to thin the edges of the seat. One of the reasons I will use resin is the thinness of the parting mold lines. However, if this is going to fly above the bar for its final flight, take the thoughts about thinning down plastic in context of a different display model.KennyX wrote:Thank you sir!
The kit comes with a harness, it’s a decal, not the Beautiful PE which Eduard has spoiled me with, but it’ll do. I’m gonna gloss all this stuff here in a little while, and apply it and the washes after that.
And thank you for the good word on the seat sanding. I didn’t even know that was an issue. Next build, DEFINITELY.
