I researched “Eureka XXL” tow cables (I was not sure about the “ length of twine,” frankly), but I only found a WWII US tow cable set for Sherman.
Carlos built beautiful cables from parachute cord and aluminum pieces, but I am not sure if the cables he made are only in use for the Leopard. The US design appears to be for a larger diameter cable, perhaps more strands were used to braid the “rope,” I am not sure.
I am researching the best photos online but I may need a research book specifically addressing US and AVRN M41 use in Vietnam. Any ideas?
