Looks good. I know that the Phantom flew under many flags. But it just looks a bit unique to see in Rising Sun markings.

Man, I have never been able to get my metallic tail sections looking that great; despite having built about 11 Phantoms! Way to go man, this is really looking magnificent!

Back when you were deciding the primary color choice I was hoping that you would be able to make the soft gray, and now you have!!! Congratulations!
I think the soft, almost pastel look—chalky or powdery—is one of the most difficult tasks there is. You really did it so well, and now with shiny silver tail and added decals the a/c looks just right!!
I really admire your integrity with scale, subject and kit... and definitely the way you engage these subjects has made me think about them in different ways—particularly modern aircraft—and the techniques are incredible to watch: your choices are always interesting and you are not afraid to go back to the beginning and start over.
In 1/72 I am curious have you tried an entire aircraft paneling using drafting pencil? I know you were using pencil to add, but I wonder... it’s an effect in 1/32 I have to make using cutting tools, but here... like that fella on Britmodeler here in 1/72 this could address issues of panel assembly at scale....

That's a lovely clean looking build - I like it.
The metallic tail sections are very nicely done - much better than my attempt on the F-4 I'm building at present. How did you go about it?
