Bruce wouldn't that be a Navy aircraft?
My current favorite is Convair CV-258-01.
Here is my progress...







Dash-board is fully scratched from sheet material in different layers. Exhaust also modified by using a rivet.
Also the entire "A-surfaces" need to be sanded and polished because of their off-tool rough surface...

Is this perhaps too patriotic? I like to see the blue almost a silhouette against the dawn sky!

And really, your scratchbuilding is absolutely gorgeous!

That's ok Bruce. But blue is much too Sea Dart for me. Don't care about the patriotic thing... I am from good old Europe. Everything ok.

What do you think about my idea?

I also pulled this photo which seemed to reflect some of the design evolution you are creating with your model... and really the scratchbuilt instrument panel is absolutely amazing and personally it has the kind of authority of realism in layout and orientation by adding depth. I was thinking would it be possible to create a sandwich with styrene backing followed by photocopied IP decals, clear sheet then top layer...

That sounds interesting Bruce. Because I had already spent more time on that one than expected I keep your idea in mind for the future.
Currently I am sanding down the rough surface of that tiny bird. And I modified my draft.


The interior also got the first paint.
