1/72 F-5E Tiger II

Post by Medicman71 »

This is the Hobby Boss 1/72 F-5E. I'll be doing it in a three tone camo.

The sprues. There's a bit of flash on the parts and the instructions leave out some things (like when and how to attach the wings). It also doesn't tell you what parts to use for the four different options.

I forgot to get a pic of the cockpit before I closed it up in the fuselage.

Nice—shame about the instructions, though! That makes no sense at all.

Wow; that is... just sad that those parts are not even close to fitting properly. You are getting things licked into shape, though!!! Particularly those fuselage seams—those are gone. This is quite a bit of bodywork! Good job so far, Medic.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised about this kit. I normally don't have problems with Hobby Boss kits.

Got the intakes fared in. Smoothed out the sanding spots.

Got the wings attached (after a lot of cutting) and the tail on.
