Re: 1/48 Hobby Boss A-10
So I planned on painting the grey on the A-10. I started with the pylons as I wasn't sure if this was the right shade of grey. After painting the pylons I'm not convinced that this is dark enough.

So I went with Ammo's Medium Gunship Grey. A little darker than I wanted but I still like it. Now for the NATO black.

According to this site, it should be the original gray of the Europe 1/Charcoal Lizard scheme, Gray FS# 36081.

Yeah this is a different camo than that one. It's going to be like in the pic I just posted. It's not going to be 100% accurate as far as camo goes.Stikpusher wrote:According to this site, it should be the original gray of the Europe 1/Charcoal Lizard scheme, Gray FS# 36081.

Yes, that photo is an R/C model, not a real A-10Medicman71 wrote:Yeah this is a different camo than that one. It's going to be like in the pic I just posted. Great paintwork. That camo is a looker for sure!
