Bruce, thanks for ordering up the gun set. That will help tremendously. Those deck pics look great. In fact, that comment about taking time coming so soon before that first pic made me think you posted it due to those guys lying on the front of the carrier 'taking time'. Your base idea is brilliant.
Thanks Kari, yeah, I hate that those guns broke; it should never have happened.
I like that little tractor Bruce, nice one. Academy makes a similar tractor in plastic; mostly used by USAAF so not as streamlined as that. I've built a couple of those in scale, I've even seen real ones still in use at airports today.
Thanks again guys. I'll be moving forward on this soon I hope.

The guns shipped out today, Mark. I’ll update you when I receive them then ship to you. I am excited by your progress and the way you plan the stages of painting; that is a step where I find myself getting bogged down but you my friend have shown how your planning and actions take the project smoothly from step to step. Thanks so much for posting the work in progress photos!
You're welcome Bruce, and thanks for the update on the guns. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Yes, I received it and it is sitting on my workbench now as we speak. I apologize for the delay in reporting this. It's been a very difficult week filled with frustration and depression. I even slightly messed up on the Hellcat; the clear coat cracked on one wing so I have to re-paint it. Three other projects got messed up too. I couldn't even finish the Four Hour Build Challenge at AMPS because of all this crap piling on top of me! Even today I'm feeling listless, unmotivated and completely drained of energy. I'll try to get back on this soon. I was hoping to have this finished by Orangecon, but that ain't happening.
Stay tuned. Hopefully more to come.
