It's indeed small...and as seen some "pages ago" on the picture, borrowing Joes words, so cramped! :-)
Carlos / Bruce : yes, I will share pics when I am back home.. Again in Sweden on a worktrip...

Great pics again, and I guess this is from the Eastern front, based on the fur-scarf the radio-guy has around his neck.. and the roof-construction...
And I will, Thanks Bruce! :-)

Kari,
This relates more to your build, I think. May 1,1940... but I have no other details. These are my radio images featuring cabling, baggage areas, spare supplies, etc.

I would most likely be crucified for posting these without identification elsewhere. I will look for the details.

Absolutely not, no crucifictions!
.. Because...
It's very interesting to try to figure out what is in the pic... Here we see, I believe, General Guderian in the vechicle..

Yes that is “Hurrying Heinz” himself, in his command track, Sdkfz 251. In the foreground is the infamous “enigma” cypher machine. That photo has been published and posted more times than easily counted. I want to say it is from the 1941 Barbarossa Campaign timeframe.
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."

I took some time and googled after pictures and found this...
http://histomil.com/viewtopic.php?f=338&t=3918&start=30
A big bunch of pics here, scroll about to the middle of this page and more pictures from the same scene, i believe, appears... The text refers to the France campaign in 1940.. And looking at specifically one picture where you see trees on both side of the road really "looks" like France..

Thank you, Kari for the link to the images and thank you Kari and Carlos for identifying the subject as well as time and geography. This was solved so completely and thoroughly as well! Most of the time I am thinking about the composition first. I wondered why the photographer would choose a high angle, which would diminish the effect of strength. Photographer Eric Borchert changed his angle to create a powerful impression of an important man covered by metal plate—a knight riding a metal clad destrier.
