what is this? no not real, it is from an anime movie, a combination of 2 real 1930 waterplanes of Savoia and Macchi

the Fine Molds kit is very nice and good to build

Beautiful work on that bird! I also built one in 1/72 scale, along with his opponent at the end of the movie. Porco Rosso is such an awesome story and movie! I have it on DVD.

Love this movie, its one of my favourites.
Love the work you've done, looks gorgeous.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

There's actually two kits: one in 1/48 (this one) and one in 1/72 scale. There is also a 1/72 scale model of the main rival to Porco as well in the blue Snyder Cup winner of 1929(?). Not sure if there is a 1/48 scale model of that one though.
