Bolleken's 1:72 stuff
Re: Bolleken's 1:72 stuff
Much respect for how you work that small and make it look so good, my man. Gee wiz that’s good stuff. I like what you did with the cockpit and pilot.

Sensational work on this old kit. Beautiful interior work.

Wonderful work... especially the cockpit at 1/72!

Great looking interior that - I've built this kit a few times but never to that standard.

First the status for the Spitfire:

So prop has a used look.

Last time you will see the interior...

Now main parts are glued and fitting was ok. I think it is an original Airfix mold from 1980.
Then I reworked the painting for my Convair and started to decal it. Also worked on a small base for it.

Then I noticed that main decals are not available so I designed them on my own. Nickname of that small bird will be "INGLORIOUS BASTARD ". While checking if they are right scaled a guy from Flugzeugforum is printing them.

What is there not to like here? On the Spitfire, the prop and cockpit look great! It’s too bad that most of that cockpit work will be hidden now. But now we all know that it’s in there. On the Convair, the decals look just right. You lucked out that somebody was making some at this time!

Thank you Carlos.
The decals are supposed to arrive today. I am really excited what they will look like.
Beside that I took a walkaround to some of the other projects in progress here. Unbelievable good stuff with so much materialzed positive emotions.
So congratulations to all of you.
I have to admit that I am playing here with the big dogs!
