Kari, Two thumbs up. On Sunday, my good friend gifted me two Bandai Star Wars X-Wings... cat nip in a way! I have an antique foot locker where I am putting away these tempting model kits. There is even now a lock being used! I am serious. Thanks for your reply. I look forward to your arriving air brush!

Actually, I forgot there are 2 X-Wings in one kit so the total is 3!

Build the X-Wing, Bruce! The Bandai kits can put many of the other "big" model manufacturers to shame with their molding and engineering.

Congrats on the Krome purchase, Kari. I'm in wait mode on my Sotar too.

Good news on the airbrush Kari.

May I suggest Scalemates to keep track of your projects? It enables you to manage your stash, manage a project and add items to it, compile a Wishlist and search for AM for a particular kit. For projects you can group them into ideas, current, on hold etc. Have a look here:

As a matter of fact, I have tried it and I did not really get enough familiar to it, so I stopped.. but this is some years ago.. But now, reading how you describe it, what can be done with it makes me curious to re-try it again!

My biggest challenge is a number of projects that are ”pending”... will they be pending forever or only for a time being... that I would want to decide..

Often I feel projects boil down to a specific area of instruction—there are obviously one’s “firsts,” which hopefully continue throughout one’s career, but there are also specific areas of instruction—sometimes build and sometimes finish in concentration. Plus, there is simply a time management issue. A kit completion issue is usually a result of several of these areas overwhelming the initial drive or momentum exerted to complete the project itself. At least that’s how I justify hopping on and off projects...
