Brent, thanks for the kind words. I have been "at the bench" for a few weeks, but not getting any where so, I keep moving to different builds to see what clicks. Hoping this one does.
Floki, that is so true. What gets sanded out/off will stay that way. As you know the entire kit has raised panel lines...ever so slightly raised.
BS214, I am pretty happy with how the cockpit looks. Thankful they had IP decal, though.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Oh, a sanding we will go, a sanding we will go....Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a sanding we will go.

A prime example of the crystal clear instructions.....

Now, any suggestions on how to close these flapper-oner-ators?

I’d say to cut them away from the center portion and then glue them in place to match the adjacent surfaces.

That thought did cross my mind. I've cut one side apart. Now to figure out how to join them. Need pics of A-10 wing at rest. Revell added an upsweep on the trailing edge of these pieces. Looks almost like a trim tab. Oh well.
