Now, since this is November 1941, the aircraft could conceivably be in the new 74/75/76 scheme. If that is the case, seeing how the dark area is not light enough to match either the darker gray of 74, or dark enough to match the black in the insignia, it could be either 70, or possibly even RLM 66. But that is purely speculation on my part.

Profile suggests RLM70 for the spinner hub.

Yes, RLM 70 was standard for hubs and blades. Most likely a factory spec. like black on USAAF wartime aircraft for blades and prop boss hubs on radial engined aircraft.

Lol don't let me rush you. Columbus was good the Bison II didn't place, the Bf110 took second and the millennium falcon took 1st but it's a hallow victory since it was the only entry in the scifi diorama category. I don't like winning that way.

Had lots of fun bought some good kits, won three kits in the raffle but I ended up giving them to kids who had entered stuff one was some Russian jet, a revell leopard tank and the incredible hulk none of them I would of built but the kids was excited to get them and getting kids interested in the hobby is a great thing. I'll take some photos when I get back home tomorrow.

It sounds like those raffle kits went to good homes. But those Revell Leopards are nice kits, definitely worth a build if you happen to end up with another.
Congrats on your placing and wins, even if the Falcon Hoth dio was by default. But hey, you can’t win if you don’t play. Just think of it as a forfeit by the other guys. They saw your work and collectively said, “let’s go home, we give up”.

I'm not big on modern armor I heard it was a nice kit. You're very right Carlos if I wouldn't of brought the Falcon she would of got nothing just sitting at home in the end its the fun of building for me and learning the history of the aircraft or tank I'm building. But I've hijacked Bruces build enough here I'll be posting some stuff when I get home just left the National Museum Of The United States Air Force and headed home after we eat.

To my mind, Clint, spreading the word of goodwill to other modelers is the kind of powerful message that we should collectively aspire to do. I see such goodwill here! Truly. Also something I am thinking about—the FW190 has "split flaps" which means the flap surface drops from the bottom of the wing, leaving the top surface of the wing flap area unchanged. This creates a hollow "pocket" in the wing just above the flap. Spaltklappe! Hm. Perhaps what Chris Wauchop did is also my solution: “The angle of the landing flaps was altered by cutting off the tabs and thinning the under surface of the wings to permit the flaps to sit against the trailing edge of the wings.”
