1/48 Revell SBD Dauntless
Another build off the shelf of doom. I really didn't have a problem with it I just got side tracked with other builds. This isn't going to be an all out build like the A-10 or F-4 are. Just something to do in between the big builds.

This thing is older than I am!!

Since there's no real seats because they're attached to the crew, which I didn't want in there, I found some from the spares to use. Probably not right but they'll work.

Drilled out the holes in the dive brakes.

Fantastic! What’s your take on the kit itself, Medic?
Make more models!
Re: 1/48 Revell SBD Dauntless
The dive brakes look 100% better with the holes drilled out. Well worth the effort. You also got holes in your seats!

It's actually not that bad fit wise. Of course I haven't gotten to the wings yet. Here it is with just one piece of tape holding it together.

Yeah, I fixed those already. I don't even remember where those seats came from.jkim wrote:The dive brakes look 100% better with the holes drilled out. Well worth the effort. You also got holes in your seats!

I thought you were giving new meaning to the term "dive bomber".
