Mr. Hobby Super Clear, my man. That’s my secret weapon on the smoothness front. Sprayed that IP with it 24 hours before I put those decals on. That stuff goes down like glass. I love it.

Mr. Super clear is the best, I have not found a clear (gloss or matt) that comes close to Mr. Hobby

Clint,

I wish I was fluent in Japanese. I’d really like to read the label. That stuff is fantastic and I’d like to know what, exactly it is they make it with.

The only issue I have is- I can’t procure it locally. I have to wonder it and it takes a long time to get here.

I think last time I ordered it off amazon with free prime shipping but it took longer than 2 days being paint. I was getting it from spruebrothers before.

Mr Hobby Super Clear... gonna check that out. Although I'm really happy with Alclad Aqua Gloss. Are Mr Hobby Matt Clears any good?

John,

Yep! I’ve used their Flat Clear as well, with no problems whatsoever.

It’s tough stuff. That’s what I like about it. It protects acrylic paint work quite well, and when used with Mr. Leveling Thinner it goes on consistently smoothly and finishes in a lovely way.
