Try to make sure your model surface is smooth before you apply the decals. Either a gloss coat or you can buff down any surface irregularities with Micromesh or even super fine sandpaper. That helps "suck" the decal down onto the model surface and avoid silvering.

Mr. Super clear is the best, I have not found a clear (gloss or matt) that comes close to Mr. Hobby

I wish I was fluent in Japanese. I’d really like to read the label. That stuff is fantastic and I’d like to know what, exactly it is they make it with.

The only issue I have is- I can’t procure it locally. I have to wonder it and it takes a long time to get here.

I think last time I ordered it off amazon with free prime shipping but it took longer than 2 days being paint. I was getting it from spruebrothers before.

Yep! I’ve used their Flat Clear as well, with no problems whatsoever.

It’s tough stuff. That’s what I like about it. It protects acrylic paint work quite well, and when used with Mr. Leveling Thinner it goes on consistently smoothly and finishes in a lovely way.
