Looking good there.

Banzai! Excellent fitting work. Hey now, do me a favor and check the lower fuselage seam at the beginning and end of your fill. Milliput has a tendency to sink slightly if it is fighting gravity. The seam itself is absolutely beautiful—and may be perfectly smooth, too. I’m going off the image on my phone.

Your hummingbird color is lovely and lively too. Payne’s grey is effective! Gotta take a note about that for adjusting all o’ those Luftwaffe tones.

Looks awesome Kenny you really showed that seam who's boss.

Great work Kenny! I'm surprised at that gap on the bottom, especially considering that it is a relatively recent Tamiya kit. How do the wings fit?

Carlos, thank you sir!

Bruce, thank you as well! And I did as you suggested and checked out the front and rear portions of the fill. No problems whatsoever. It’s smooth. And thank you for the good word on the Aotake with the wash on it too, much appreciated my man!

Clint, danke!

John, thank you! And as to the wings, they fit great, unattached then this afternoon after work. I was surprised at that seam myself, that’s not typical of my experience with Tamiya kits. But it’s okay, the fix was easy and the wing roots look are great!

Wing fit does look good! Ok... cross that off my worry list! Great looking aotake in the wheel wells. Tough to pull off without leaving the finish too grainy... you nailed it!

Leading this build in homeruns! What the others have said...nice fit, nice detail and really good work.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Looks to be a great fit. I'm surprised you even had that gap to begin with.

Cheers folks! Thank y’all so much for the kind words, I appreciate it!

I’ve just about completed all the major airframe construction. The wing tips are attached, as well as the stab, rudder, etc. and I’m test-fitting the cowl and exhaust assembly now. I’m really growing into an appreciation for this airframe.
