I used pins like that on the A-10 weapons so that they would have more of a solid attachment.

Pinning is always a smart move to secure small and protruding stuff. But with those super tiny Neodym magnets available I'm tempted to use them in a coming project. Perfect for removable fairings, just to name one of many options.

Bruce turned me on to those little magnets... might come in handy on the future Tiger II build.

May have to look into those magnets.
I should have done this a long time ago but I acquired an Eduard canopy mask for this bad boy today so I can put the front end on it and commence with the paint work. Progress within the foreseeable future you guys.
