Re: Pacific Coast Models 1/32 Fw 190A-1. Black 13. Belgium,

Thank you so much for your advice, John. I feel I am bumping into a limitation of the earlier Eduard PE designs as well as my own builder limitations. I am going to try one more time to make a coiled cable... because I am stubborn... or dogged or determined, which both sound better to me than stubborn. I don’t have clear plasticard but I do have clear plastic from various clear packaging that may be useful to create a composite sandwich to at least have a reflective dial look. I also will add the three gauges on the floor console using decals. I just want to have the IP done first.

The glass dial look can also be achieved by putting a drop of clear gloss into the dials.

Thanks, John!

Is that gonna be your oxygen hose?

Looks very good Bruce, without the control stick near it to compare size I'm lost on just how big it Is though.

I know this cable is a wee bit outta scale, however—

Carlos, yes this would make a great oxygen hose.

EDIT— I lightened these two images... #filter

I think you got it this time. It might be a tad oversized but don't think it's going to be obvious when the pit is installed. I also see you got some color down on the seat.

I think it's alright. May be out-of-scale a bit but it is YOUR touch and I've yet to see another 190 build that incorporated that little touch into the cockpit. It says, "This is Bruce's Wurger."

Clint— Thank you!!!!

John— Thank you!!!

Also— The cockpit is dark. I lightened the previous series with a filter. Top image: no filter. Bottom image: LED lamp filter made by VSCO—

The seat on the top image was changed with Gunze markers. I like it. More rich brown tones.

Good to note... I was tempted to mention the lightness of the RLM66. Are you doing all of your pics and posting on your phone?
