That is a good buy on them, I'm going to see if the places I normally buy from are offering them at that price. The join on the right side took a bit of persuading but in the end closed up nicely after sitting all day held in a bar clamp.

Sounds like a steal on those belts. May have to give that a shot. Progress and photos are looking great by the way.

Starting to take the shape up nicely! Though I’m a bit surprised to see the wing guns mounted already.

That definitely looks like an airplane! I've seen pictures.....Nice work on this rascal.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks guys! They aren't in permanent yet I just stick them in to see how they would look and if their was any gaps around them.

Bruce honestly nothing. I primed the entire thing and sprayed it RLM66 since the instrument panel is attached to the rear of them. I then fit it in with miliput and sanded it smooth while taking no care about dinging the paint on the guns since this area is going to be repaint RLM02 after another coat of primer.
I was going to prime this tonight before work, ended up doing something around the house instead. Woke up tonight around 7 rushed down to the LHS to get some Tamiya white and black just to find out he's closing at 7 now instead of 8.

I think simpler is often better. That’s been my experience. I’ll hit the mark then instead of moving forward I’ll noodle that piece until it’s too far gone then it’s time for resurrection. If instead I just moved on I would not have to redo. I’m enjoying this project so much. Sorry the local store closes early. That sucks. I’m doing a lot of drawing these days but I will get back in the model building mood soon. The drawing provides additional income so... gotta make dem ends. I was gonna tell ya in your band concert thread that I was writing down the bands you and Fermis were talking about and my co worker saw those names and was really excited! I never suspected she was into metal beforehand but wow, she really knew where you were coming from there!
