Re: 1/48 Hasegawa Arado 234 Blitz-Progress-03/27
Joe—I’m finishing my break in five minutes but I definitely want to write here to you that the subtle shifts of your scribbling are beautiful. That is exactly the kind of powdery fine pre-color coat marbling that will bring a camouflage to life. Exquisite work, my friend! I have two minutes left, so I better make it snappy! I really appreciate the transitions on the fuselage being so distinct. I like the organic feeling of exterior panels being segmented by the grey tones shifting in a softly cohesive way. I look forward to what you do next!

Looking good, so when will we be seeing camo on her?

Joe, I think I like that marbling better than the more stringy kind. This will really make your pattern pop.
One day I might just have to try a marbling effect on one of my planes....

Thanks Torben. 'Preciate it bud.

I shoul know, but.... is the marbling / mottled effect to provide depth and give visual interest?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
