RFM offers a set of tracks made of styrene. Maybe you can find a wip where someone reports about their buildability.

Thanks Clint and Torben for your suggestions!
Both really interesting options, took a view on YouTube regarding the styrene tracks..
R-model is really good looking metal ones!
What do you think, "one size fits any Jagdpanther / Panther" ?
Aka Meng, Takom, Tamiya, Dragon etc etc etc

That’s something of a gray area. The biggest worry being that all the companies may have some variation in the sprocket, either in spacing of the teeth or width of the sprocket.KSaarni wrote:

One other consideration is that there were early and late production track types. So the type used on an initial production D would not be the same as used on a G or Jagdpanther.

Good to see some movement on the Jagdpanther, Kari. Friul, R-Model and Masterclub are three companies that make metal tracks. I'm sure there are more. I picked up Masterclub tracks for mine as they were the most economical choice for me at the time. They look ok but I have no experience with building them so I can't say how mine are going to work out.
Not an expert but it looks like you need Late Panther tracks to fit your Jagdpanther, i.e. Friul ATL-08

Check out this comparison between some plastic track sets and the Friul...

Re: MENG 1/35 Sd.kfz. 173 Jagdpanther
Many thanks Carlos and John for you answers / help !
Friulmodel seems also to be a good option!
I will tomorrow visit a rather small convention, but would not be surprised if someone would be selling tracks from Friulmodel there.
Building armour seems to be pretty common "genre" here in Belgium, especially US and German subjects.. Of course, historical reasons ...

And here we go...
I took a ride to my LHS and they had a huge collection of Friulmodel stuff, so I decided to get some life in my Jagdpanther now..

And yes, once more thanks John, the "ATL-08" should go pretty straight forward on my MENG..

You'll probably get to the metal track assembly before I do, Kari. So I'll be watching to see how these things are assembled. Did yours come with instructions. My Masterclub tracks did not.
