Cessna T50 1/48 Squadron "Encore"
Re: Cessna T50 1/48 Squadron "Encore"
Thanks all! Hot and humid today. Already 72F and headed towards 90! Heading to the Piddle Palace in a bit.

Re: Cessna T50 1/48 Squadron "Encore"
Thanks, Kenny! I rubbed it real good and hit it with some (ready?) Krylon Metallalic Silver. I like this stuff. Just about a dead match for the Tamiya Flat Aluminum. Here is the aircraft I've settled on...
Why? I have the Stars/Bars in the kit decals and I can easily make the tail number and "415". Is the red dot the fuel filler point? I can't tell from pictures.

Oh I do like that one. The red surround on the star & bars is a nice splash of color.

Stik, thanks. Now to mask the anti-glare areas! Fix the tailwheel (yes, I broke it...but found it), add the windows, add the gear, do the decals and I'm done!Stikpusher wrote:Oh I do like that one. The red surround on the star & bars is a nice splash of color.
Thank you! I thought this had enough color.portman wrote:Great choice Lyle - That'll look really good.

Lyle, you and those tail wheels do not get along well in construction....
