In terms of new kit purchases, yeah bro, I’ve done that. Not ashamed to admit it. I remember cracking open my Eduard 1:32 109 long-term decompression project. The fuselage was warped and wouldn’t fit together to my liking. It was bad. So I bought another kit, and bass-bing, I had a fuse that for together nicely and a whole bunch of spare parts. Did that with my 1:48 Corsair kit whenever I dropped it and broke it (needed the spars that hold the wings on). Shoot, I’ve bought four of those Tamiya Corsairs in 1:38 and one in 1:32. I donit if that’s what it takes LOL I get a little obsessive
Thanks Lyle, and I'll check his vid out. I quite like Will's videos but I've not seen that one!LyleW wrote:Stuart, good luck with the hunt for replace the canopy. Assuming you didn’t break it, use it to practice polishing. Will Pattinson has a decent YouTube video on this.
Well poke me in the eye with a fork and call me uncle... Or something
I sent Hobbyco (the UK Tamiya agent) an e-mail this morning, and have already had a quote back from them (3 hours?) - one phonecall to pay later and I have a nice shiny new clear sprue on it's way to me!
Woohoo!
... Noe I've just got to get the old one off...
