Bumped into this guy on the FSM forums. F-100D pilot in Vietnam. Fantastic work so I'd thought I'd share.

This guy has some serious skill! And he flew F100s, to boot...

He does do some nice work. But I’d take his personal history claims with a grain of salt. I remember when he first joined FSM he contacted me claiming to be a former F-105 pilot and retired General. Maybe he is, maybe he isn’t, but he would post anything to back up those claims. I don’t trust folks who claim to be this or that and then show nothing to back it up. He toots his own horn loudly on FSM, but won’t post his work there, saying it’s too good. Looking at his stuff here, I’ll say it’s good, but certainly not too good to post. I see several points to critique. I see better work from many of our members here.

Well I’m sure not

Let’s just say that he strikes me as another Manny in the way he interacts with other forum members. But at least Manny shared his work from day 1. He walked the walk and talked the talk. It took your digging to get Silver’s stuff posted online. It’s good, but not the be all/end all that he kept saying it was for the past several years.

I have to say that I have never heard of this guy, one way or the other. To me, his work is way better than mine, but whose isn't? IF he is guilty of stolen valor, he needs to be called out on it. Is he still active on FSM?

Yes he is. He just recently pissed off a bunch of the Brits over there with some of his comments.
