Not sure this is applicable (or accurate for that matter) but I found this information on a Ju88A flight sim document...

Didn’t the Ford Tri-motor have gauges on the nacelle?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Yeah they're gauges. The Hs 129 had them on the outside too.
Great work on the cockpit!!

As others have said, yep they are gauges. The Pro Modeler version I built a few years ago came with decals to put on clear parts. I also had a tight fit around the cockpit. If you haven't tried fitting them yet I remember the wings were a great fit.

Thanks so much for the information guys! Sometimes my Google Fu isn't very strong.
Now she's looking like an airplane!

I was also able to prime and preshade the panel lines.

Looks ready for camo! How did the engine nacelles fit? As I recall, I had to do quite a bit of sanding and putty work to make them fit on my G-6 build.

Thanks guys!
John I didn't have much trouble with the nacelles. I had a seam on the halves to sand, and had to wiggle them around a little bit to get a good fit to the wing but nothing too serious.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've posted any progress. I don't know why, but my builds always tend to slow down when I get to the paint stage. But, I finally have her painted.
