However if you're gonna do a big block , you've gotta go a little wilder than a 454.

It'll have to have a badge like so-no power added required :giggles:

Beautiful work, Joe! Looks properly studded and menacing. I did a little sketch just to figure out how those bolts might have attached... looks like each one was self tapping?

Thanks you guys.

Bruce: That looks about right. Cool drawing btw!

I started up on the engine paint up this morning. I have really come to like these macro shots as I use them as a tool to go back and fix certain things that either I miss or made a mistake on. Found a couple of areas that need some attention in the shot below. Anyways....after a base coat, a very light wash just to bring the details out and a little bit of detail painting this is the latest progress with the engine parts test fitted (looks like I need to rotate that combustion area about 5 minutes counter clockwise :hmm: ):

That's looking great! Is it part of the kit or is It AM?
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Thanks Clint. That's part of the Aires engine set.

Engine looking great, hopefully the rotating of that part is not too much of a chore.

LOL!!! It's all good Kevin. I've just got it butted up against the compressor assy so it's not glued yet. I would've wanted to kick some serious a$$ if that were to have happened. :ballbat:

I would envision the use of Lyle’s hammer to knock it back into place! Lol
