Sorry that I haven't been on much. Went to a funeral this weekend for a friend that was only 21. We've known him since he was born as we're close friends with his parents. He was in a car accident that was not his fault. Another driver came across the lane and hit him head on at high speed. He swerved his truck in time to save the life of his fiancee that was in the truck with him.

Au contraire, I just dropped out the backgrounds and did some (hopefully subtle) additions in contrast and or sharpness. Your family and friends are in prayers, Mike.

My user name is actually my old CB handle I had back in the 80's.

1. First model kit?

My first kit was the second edition of the old AMT Star Trek USS Enterprise back in 1968. I saved my allowance for 2 months to buy it.

2. Preferred scale?

Cars- 1/25-1/24
Aircraft 1-72-1/32-1/35

3. Preferred subject or subjects?

20s to 70s classic cars and muscle cars, helicopters and WWII aircraft

4. Favorite model built to date?

Probably my 66 Batmobile.

5. Hardest model built to date?

A review kit I did for a Scale Auto magazine. A Polar Lights 69 Mercury Cyclone. Nothing fit right, loads of flash, pins and holes not lining up or holes too small for pins. Hands down worst kit I've ever done.

6. Holy Grail kit?

It's not available but I would love a new tool Opel GT.

7. Favorite kit maker

None really.

8. Favorite glue or glues?

No real favorite, I use mostly superglue with some liquid cement, epoxy and embers clear school glue.

9. Favorite paint?

I use Duplicolor primer and Matthews plolyurathane I get from work

10. What started you as a modeler?

The first kit I got. I got back into the hobby in a big way back in 1992 thanks to the June 1992 issue of Scale Auto Enthusiast magazine.
