There are insistent rumours that Tamiya will uncover his new quarterscale kit at the All Japan Model & Hobby Show in two weeks.

If this is true it will sell like bread! Hope they keep the retail price in town...

A 1/48 twin seat/twin engine large jet fighter from Tamiya? I bet it will be at least $75 if not way more. I am sure that if it comes out, it will be beautiful, but it will be too expensive for my budget.

That was 72nd though...was a sweet kit too!

In 48th, I've only done a couple Revellograms...meh.....and an Academy, again...meh. As mentioned, something about it looks a bit off...not really sure what it is. In the end though, it looks like an F-14.

Willing to bet the Tamiya kit will be sweet, and likely be not much cheaper than their 32nd kit....but I'm also willing to bet the decals will still be the thick-ish, impervious to micro-sol, crap that the always give us.

Sweet! The one jet I would really like to take a crack at. I have the Hasegawa A in the stash, but I'm still afraid of it. The Tammy will beclose to 100 bones easy...

Now will someone give me a new tooled P-40 B already????
