I've been putzing away at this. Made some decals... Picking away at the dash (still needs some dry brushing and chrome work on the speedometer. I just don't know what to do with the interior though. Currently, it is an ivory color - provides a little contrast to the body.

Could not get a good chrome strip on the sides. Tried the pens with a bit of masking...Wah, wah. Broke out the BMF Chrome foil and a couple of new, sharp blades. Not too bad....

Thank you. I only have one sheet! :giggles: Cutting 1/8" strips (or there-a-bouts) and then trimming after application. Tamiya molded a nice raised detail for the chrome strip.

You were thinking about interior color.... I found photos here of one of the originals:

The owners note that the interior is “mostly original.” If this car matches the others from the film, then the interior was light grey. I thought I saw another car when researching that has the standard white/ivory interior, though! Have you gone through a copy of the film yet? I would look for stills that feature the interior.

I did a quick look. Definitely a gray interior:

I also like the foil. Way to go Lyle. I remember that the interior was grey too.
