Re: Yeah baw 1:32 Saburo Shindo Zeke!
My buddy! Welcome back. I was thinking about your dilemma because the banjo like any wonderful music making instrument or simply anything that allows you to make music will lead you to great revelation about yourself, others and the world. I don’t even view this as a dilemma I just feel that someone like yourself who has talent in many areas has the challenge of finding how your talents will be used.
I have seen the Great Revelations with musicians from the front row, and I see you now far beyond the plunge point but in the ether, and I am happy for you. Very happy. I am happy to see you here; actually, I am relieved you are back here amongst us. A visit to Scale Plastic Aircraft Modeler is a visit to an island - and although there are mists hanging all around there is a great big bonfire blazing on the shore and you know I will bring the good stuff as my Dad called it, and the others will be there too—actually two came before I did, Kari and Clint are there to welcome you, as am I.
You can bring the banjo, bud.

Bruce,
Thank you so much for the welcome back to this here island! That’s mucho appreciated and thank you for the kind words too. I have six, count ‘em SIX banjo songs I k ow by heart already, and I’m shooting for many, many more. Maybe even more than a few I write myself. And it’s time to tackle Eastbound and Down in earnest. And you’re right about music, you can learn a whole hell of a lot about yourself learning and playing music. That is 100% true!
Mr. Black Sheep!
Danke very much for the welcome back as well my man! Thank you!
So here we are! On track to reaching my goal. Got the loop antenna installed, the aerial mast is installed, the head rest (not shown) is installed, and the canopy is on! I can take the whole rest of the week to carefully mask this thing. I’m stoked!

I've been wanting to learn the banjo for years now, the wife gave me the go ahead to buy one might get one around Christmas. My main reason for wanting to play is so I can also learn east bound and down by the late great Jerry Reed. I can play a version on guitar but it sounds so much better on the banjo.
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Yes sir!!Medicman71 wrote:KENNY IS BACK AT IT!!!!
DO IT! DO IT! That song is awesome. Great chord progressions in that song. It’s great stuff really. The banjo as a whole is so much fun to play. My mom gave me my late stepfather’s Gibson Mastertone. I cannot put it down.Floki wrote:I've been wanting to learn the banjo for years now, the wife gave me the go ahead to buy one might get one around Christmas. Glad to have you back!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

And the canopy and windscreen are all masked and ready to go. Looks like it’s time to paint!
