Have you guys ever seen The Band of Brothers episode, "The Last Patrol"? The one where Private Webster returns to Easy Company after a stay in the hospital? That's what I feel I like... a bit unsure of how to comment amidst all of the new modeling work going on here. Bruce on a P-40 in 72 scale? Would never have guessed it? Looks like some airbrushing work is happening, which is great to see! Now that fishing season is over for me, I'll try to pop my head in more and hopefully re-ignite my own stagnant builds. Keep it going Bruce!

Bruce, everything is looking fantastic so far after catching up on the last seven pages I missed before. Take your time on the P/E; no pressure. Also enjoy the car build; things like that do help to keep the mojo flowing when unable to focus on tough stuff like P/E.

TGIF and thank you for reposting that image, Ken. Thank you most sincerely. I seem to be fighting a cold this week as well as a potentially harmful lack of focus. It’s the lack of focus which concerns me unless it’s related to feeling run down and on the precipice of getting sick. What I do need is to go and appreciate how much you and others here have achieved. That always lifts my spirits. I have never thought of October has holding any doldrums in its days so I am stumped by the new feeling that the early fall months, long the cherished months of activity and change, may be less impactful on my mental state. The loss of summer activities due to construction and other complications is easier to factor than the feeling that I am about to execute some avoidance maneuvers. This is not an apologia. Writing and drawing seem to be the boons for me at the moment. I still live amongst boxes and bedsheet covered furnishings, waiting for the painting to begin “in a few days.” That was two weeks ago.

Oh my! That can certainly wear on ones “giddy up and go”. Do some sketches of paint schemes, go find a balsa glider and head to a park.

I feel your pain. I know what a downer that can be when you're surrounded by boxes and bedsheets. My house is a Federal Disaster Area already too, so that doesn't help my mojo much. Still, I did manage to get some stuff done that I'll be posting soon. Hopefully that will help cheer you up.

Thanks, Mark. I appreciate your thoughts although I sincerely wish for you to also have a clean space to live as well as work. In my case, I also need to figure out how to budget a new monitor for the computer. I am literally doing my work on an ancient iPad and quasi ancient iPhone.
