I Just finished this today. It's another kit I received for Christmas and wanted to get it done before the end of the year. I decided to go Luftwaffe and probably went just a wee tad over with the weathering, maybe they just haven't washed it yet . It was a nice kit, decent detail and lots of parts in conjunction with ROG blue box standards. Nice price too. I hate the way their boxes open at the end though, enough to make me purchase from a different manufacturer. The boxes crush and you can't throw parts and trees back into them during the building process.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.
Looks very sharp! Does the Bundesluftwaffe keep their Typhoons in shelters? If not, the weathering may not be over the top.

They're kept in shelters, but can look pretty battered after a few hours of flight. Especially the two that are continuously in readiness for NATO air surveillance.
Very good looking build, MC. It's a pretty plane seldom build.
Dunke Mostrich,
I hoped I hadn't overdone it. It's a great looking plane IMO. I have SEVERAL modern AC but would like to build the single seat at some time.

Yes it’s very good looking. I’d like to get a 1/48 kit for my (very small) collection of 21st century warplanes.

That is a beautiful job man. Way to go and I think the weathering is spot on for a plane returning from a mission.

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.
Well done !!
I've been wanting to get the Typhoon kit as well. I have an idea on the scheme I want to do that's gonna be something nobody thought of doing.
