I don’t need any temptations!

I keep eyeballing the Eduard Spitfires but tell myself no. How you guys put the detail in 1/72 is nuts.
:P1:

I’m so tempted to finish a Spit myself...

Thanks - very kind of you to say!

Wonder if the Airfix Medic got is a new tool like the P-40? Desert colored Spits are saaaaweeeeet!

Yep - new tool, came out a few years back. A very nice kit by all accounts!

Oh crap, now I want a Spitfire...
Go on - you know you want to!

You'll have to excuse the quick Kindle Photo (my daughter's pinched my camera), but here's where I am at present - Build finished and onto the paint. Everything but the black has had two coats.

Pretty pleased with it so far.

Thanks Bruce - It's not too bad considering it's only had about three hours spent on it in total.

In fact I'm pretty pleased with this week's productivity.

Great stuff Stuart!

That is an excellent in-scale comparision between those two!
Is the Spitfire so big compared to the Mig-15, or Mig-15 so small compared to the Spitfire or all the way around ? :hmm:

Kari if you've ever seen a MiG-15 it's a really small aircraft. Short and stubby. Even the F-86 was huge in comparison.
