Cross Kit General Lee....ish-Completed-12/28

Ok......I've been throwing everything I've got at this one for the last week and haven't made very much progress on it but it's been a lot of little things that all add up to the bigger picture.

Engine bay is......finished!!



And I've got everything done here except for some work on the hood, some R/T badges, windshield wiper install and custom exhaust tips.

Thanks you guys. I’ve got everything done now except for the finishing touches on the exhaust tips and then we’re off too finishing the hood off!!

I didn't like the kit supplied exhaust tips and decided to fabricate my own out of aluminum tubing. I angle cut a stalk, cleaned both sides up and polished them and then cut them to length and installed. Still gotta add the black soot to the insides of the pipes but I'm fairly happy with this result.

Well fellas! After 5 months I think I'm going to actually meet a deadline by finishing this one on time. Still gotta tweak the hood a little bit but we're gonna go with "done" on this bad boy. Depicted here is a version of the General Lee as if I owned one. I'm a Charger R/T fan before I'm a "Dukes" fan so I opted to show the R/T grille unobstructed by the grille guard up front. Just couldn't do it guys. Anyways here she is all purdied up and ready for show. Thanks to all who followed and/ or commented along the way.
