Been ridiculously busy at work for the last couple weeks, and went on a salmon fishing trip last weekend (no joy)...anyway, this is where I left off a couple weeks ago....
Kit gun is way basic, so I made a new one....
All basic assembly is done...just have some canopy work and she'll be ready for some paint...

The new gun is such an improvement! Well done, good job! Also the kit starts to show the real aircraft´s beautiful lines more and more! Where is a 1/32 scale kit???

This is looking really cool...
...one of the very few Japanese planes of the war with a liquid-cooled engine. In fact, it was a licensed copy of the German DB601E that was fitted to early109s...The Japanese also built a radial-engined version of this MOFO... Made its first combat debut as a recon plane on Soryu at Midway...

For not having to work today...and waking up at 5a.m., I did not get anywhere near as much done as I thought I would. Should have been painting by now!!!
Anyway, I make new canopies, so they could be open...
Masked and ready for some paint...
Paint booth will have to wait...off to the woods I go. Hopefully, a deer will "follow" me home!
