Great model, great build! And a quite unusual nose art too. :lashed:

That's really good to hear some positive thoughts on Humbrol's finest  Thanks for the numbers Stik - thankfully I have those to hand.

Two tricks to using Humbrol: 1) stir thoroughly before use, :stirpot: and 2) seal tightly after use. :DH: Do those and you will get your money's worth from every tin.

As long as Humbrol keeps making their enamel paint and sending it here, I'll keep using it. :dogwag:

I also find they almost always need thinning, and generally add a spot of Humbrol thinners to each pot.

Some do, and some do not. The batches from China (poor move on Humbrols part in my view) tend to be thicker and need thinner more often than the older UK made batches. In that case I use a pallet, or the rim of the tin as a mixing area to thin as needed. Once you add thinner to the main batch of paint, things go south very quickly.

Thanks Bruce,
I will slowly be rebuilding my completed threads on here. But there is only so much time in a day, and when the modeling mojo is flowing, I have to be at the bench as much as I can be....

That one-o-four did what it was made for: it totally slipped under my radar, lol.
So well done on the recovery, Stik. It just gave the needed ping.
