It's funny, that units tanks look like they just came off field maneuvers in the boonies when they rolled into town. Especially when compared to some of the T-54, T-62, and VDV units... They had a scruffy appearance and the painted stripes were not as neat...

I said most... that stuff, not no but HELL NO! Along with Busch and most anything by Miller... even PBR rates higher with me... lol!

Enjoy Jeeves! Wish I could partake, but I have a long nite at work ahead.

Bruce the bottom photo is indeed a T-54. The vent cover in front of the loaders hatch is the main visual recognition feature difference between the two types. On the T-55, there is no vent there. The other external visual difference is the shape of one of the engine deck hatches. Otherwise, most differences between the two types are internal. And other external features are retrofitted to both types during overhauls.
