Thanx Portman :)
Back on the hound too, two session of works:

The Ip need some surgery, cut in the middle and used unused instruments to build the side consolles as the real one

Image

Image

Removed original rudder , scrathed new ones and moved backward

Image

Rea doors, oob except for little steps , one par side

Image

modified original seats, the co-pilot in turned position to allow passage unde the cargo zone

Image

test fitting

Image

Added cargo floor parts, as i modified the first bulkhead in shape and position these parts are needed. The hole in the center allow the access to the gun nose position

Image

More details added to the front bulkhead

Image

first aid boxes added

Image

To allow good covering of bottom cockpit putty session glued all other control levers, also added details on the back of IP

Image

The detailing session is almost finished, few things to add before painting session :)

I wish I had the gumption to do all that tiny wiring as you do. It looks outstanding.

Time to close the wip , actually few adjusts left to do , sorry for the delay

Interior painting finished, washing and drybrush done:

Image

Image

Image

Image

gun upper IP and engine bulkhead ready

Image

cargo bay ceiling

Image

IP ready, a touch of clear glossy on the instruments to simulate glass

Image

Fuselages ready

Image

Image

Front gun glued to the nacelle

Image

Image

Cockpit and ceiling and floor glued on fuselage

Image

Image

Image

Image

engine bulkhead too

Image

Image

Image

Image

Glued fuselages withouth problems and.. withouth weight on the nose ...

Image

Image

Image

after i remeved the nose to put these walls to prevent to see trought the air intake on the nose, another time i forget the weight..

Image

first layer of thinned 89 with a touch of white for bottom color

Image

Image

Image

two views from the back

Image

Image

green on! i used pure 30 from humbrol

Image

Image

Image

the lines bugs between the two colors i resolved after with tthe blade edge passing on the line and a toothpick with thinner

Image

Image

added grips on the fuselage

Image

Starting to perform postshading, on the 89 used the medium grey 144

Image

a large white stripe on the cargo doors was done , instructions means about silver but pictures tells another story :)

Image

Stripes on tail rotor done with paint, decals provided by the kit but not same finish as regular paint

Image

Postshading and highlights on the green. Used the 116 for darker areas and the 30 lighted with yellow and white for highlights. Same story, whit drybrush tecnique

Image

Finally i put the gears legs so i rember .. the weight on the nose!!! :scream:
In the picture i already resolved the problem putting lead pieced throught the hole between the nose and the gun post hole

Image

almost all the pieces drying

Image

glossy coat before decals, as my usual used regular 35 gloss coat, two thinned layers

Image

Image

Image

Decals on, the only problem on one of points of the bottom red star :(
For the cutted side stars alignment i put the larger part on the cargo doors , the fixed it to the fuselage with tape and put the smaller part on the fuselage correct position

Image

Image

Washing panel lines after another glossy coat to seal and protect decals, then final coat of semigloss clear paint.
Glued the wheels too :)

Image

Image

Image

dirt on the main rotor

Image

Image

and shaft

Image

last images of the wip, last pieces glued and some view. As i finish to write here will make last works to finish the hound , thanks for view and comments the wip

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Just as final notes, i added four little rods on the cargo door hinges to help positioning them in the correct way.
As i was happy with this build rapidly started the smaller helo from hobby boss i had in the stash, the Mi-2 , fuselage closed in about three days!! soon will post he too :D at the next!
