Excellent project Bruce!, I like the approach you are taking with it. Interestingly, I am doing the same thing at the moment with the Aurora Russian Guided Missile Submarine. It will never be a great representation of a Golf III class boat, but taken in the historical context of it being what Aurora thought the latest Soviet doomsday missile carrying submarine looked like in the mid 1960's it is pretty cool. Kevin, Thank you! I had to fix where the plastic did not quite reach the edges of the mold. There was a V-shaped channel where I let the Milliput and gravity do the work. The rolled edge of the lip was a greater challenge. Actually, using a ball of putty as the form of the bomb cover was a use of an excess pea-sized amount of material. It works perfectly well for the basic shape. I may carve a few forms on each side, to give it a little more authority.

Gents, my goal is just to build without overthinking and move more quickly if possible. I think the approach to the raised paneling and flaps is still a question mark or sticking point within the project. Should I go with the original idea and keep these as they are? I would like to reduce these areas without losing them. Perhaps the approach is to grind them flat then use the metal scribing rulers and metal tipped scriber to create the shallow grooves. I keep thinking of the way Kevin does this at speed... or any of you fellas. I still like using Dynotape and a deep breath—steady hands, even pressure.

Temped in the first fuel pod support.
Personally, I find white glue to be brilliant for temping in parts and brilliant for finalizing PE parts in non load-bearing situations.
I know the fit is atrocious on the center line.
It looks worse than it is and I have a secret weapon.
Mr Just High Strength Adhesive.
