John, I think I used E Z Line on the C-46. I'm using the Uschi brand now, fine and exta fine. The extra fine is scale for 1/48 but is almost invisible. Here is the extra fine on a Tamiya Betty:

Did you have much work joining the wing center to the fuselage?

I don't remember for sure Lyle, but that part that goes in the front of the wing center section will help with that, and also look at the web page where I spread the aft lower fuselage to fit to the wing better.
