Last time I looked for some stuff like that at Hobby Lobby, they were carrying Mr Cement. :hmm:

If you go on the Hobby Lobby website, you’ll see pretty much what they carry in every store. They do not have much variety from their nationwide stock.

I’m just curious as to when they did a clearance of their Vallejo products… wish that I had seen that. One visit and they had their usual stock… next visit a month or two later and they had none, nor any in the clearance section…

Yup. They appear to be copying some Tamiya products such as the tiny cotton swabs, weathering mediums compacts, etc. For some things I can take a gamble on some of that knock off stuff, but some of their other products look to be pretty weak. I’ve bought some of their no name paint brushes in the past and those tend to die quickly.
Yeah I tried their "tamiya tape" equivalent and it sucked bad.

Indeed it does. I use what I have left for non masking jobs now.

I heard that the Blue Stuff was good… tried it - nope… I vaguely recall another type being recommended… tried it… nope. I’ll stick with a known constant. Nothing matches or beats Tamiya masking tape in my experience.
