Thank you Stuart. I actually got in some bench time today so I will try to get some progress photos up later on.
Life has been quite busy and last week was rough, so now I'm playing catch up at this point.

Now that is looking great Carlos - nice work! I like seeing figures on armor models, it really helps set them apart. Are you going to put this one on a base?

Stuart and Lyle, thank you. Life is busy, but not overwhelming right now. Just so many things to do and never enough time for all of them...

Stuart, yes this will have a base. I am working on something simple for this to put it in the proper setting. I agree how a build does look better on a base, but a base does end up,creating a far larger footprint for the finished build to display later than just the basic tank.

Thanks Bruce. Although this project had minimal scratch work. More improvised conversion using basic supplies and techniques than true scratch work....

Well here are my latest update photos....

A few close ups of the oil wash work before I seal it up with a flat coat in the next few days....







I have also begun painting the figures- Gunze for the flesh base and custom mix of Humbrol for the coveralls. I built the full Trumpeter set of four figures as one may replace the kit figure for the driver



Now this figure I want to explain upon a bit...





As you can see, Trumpeter provides you with an AK for him... but it's an AK-74 and not an AK-47. Perfectly fine for 1980's but not for 1960's. Rummaging thru my spares bin, I did turn up a fixed stock AKM. But as a tanker her needs a folding stock AKMS like this guy...



So I found some parts to modify the AK from my spares bin into a folding stock AKMS....



it fits the figures hands just fine and now I have some folding stock AK-74's in my spares bin....

Everything you are doing looks great, Carlos! Are you going to situate your model on a base with broken glass and other debris?

I haven’t finalized my base concept yet. It is still very much a concept at this point and not much more. Just a street and a sidewalk with possibly a street sign and street lamp... maybe some rubbish or debris...
