Last night I made a hanging bracket from a Post-It to tape the circa 1967 decal sheet to my window. Now facing the California sun directly, let us see if the yellowed edges of carrier film will fade away. Hashtag: current science experiment

This is very interesting experiment Bruce! Have heard of this method, but have never witnessed, (sort of almost) first hand :-) how this will succeed! Also, how long it will eventually take will be interesting to know!

Kari! I believe 48 hours of daylight is required. I will check each night at sundown and begin counting the hours of daylight. Perhaps 3-1/2 to 4 days.

I would suggest putting the decals in a sealed zip lock baggy to protect them from any condensation that may occur. Especially against the glass of the window.

I am now home, and just sealed the decals in a ziplock type bag to catch the last rays of sunlight! My plan is to take the decals in at night, then put them out during the day like a houseplant! Thanks, Carlos!
