Maybe, just maybe......I have enough weight. Held the beast by the wingtips and it now tilts forward a bit. Added a little more to the nacelles to be save! Also weighted the wheels. Now my problem is I can't lift the darn thing.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

That it is, Kari. And it is still a tail sitter. Still more weight needs to be crammed in.
EDIT: and an update. I stuffed a little re-sealable baggie of LG in the nav/FE position. it now sits on the nose gear.

For weight you need better a plate of lead to shape as you need or melt with some mould

I don't really want to get in to molding my own weights (I do, but...........). I plan on shopping around for lead shot and whatever. The liquid gravity is good, but I ended up using about 1/2 a bottle on this. Thanks for the tips -BsYamato wrote:Good recovery LYle

Not much going on. . . except masking the front glass parts. Bought the Eduard masking set. Wow are these hard to see on the backing. One blurry eye isn't enough. But they do seem to fit nicely. Slow going ... but I like the results.

A feller on FSM said he saw a YouTube video that advised carefully, very carefully, peeling off the leftover sheet - leaving only the stuff you want to use on the backer.
Anyway, got them done and this has to be the worst fitting greenhouse I've ever seen. Bad even for some of Revell's standards. I have no recollection of doing any sanding or adjusting to the fuselage..doesn't mean I didn't, I just have no recollection of doing it. Sucks. Looking more closely at it, I am not sure if it is the canopy or fuselage? I guess it doesn't really matter, huh?
