Almost identical to the pictures in your opening post! Just check the "3", add a little bit to make it look more Russian. That´s the only I would do.

And thus starts the weathering process...
Recently i bought a small batch of different premade washes by AK and AMMO. Sofar i must say i am very pleased with them. Not much notable difference from my usual oil paint washes but the fact that i can grab a jar at will without having to mix up stuff is very convenient.
Sofar only a dark wash has been added to bring out details. I will continue with the usual gamut of filters, rust washes and streaking effects.

Looks pretty cool so far. Are you washing over the entire model and letting it collect in the recesses or pin washing into the details?

this dark wash i tend to do all over, just to make all panels, rivets and other detail pop. i then go over it with more different washes to pick out specific detail
