I think I've got the right combination right now with the tires. Here's the rear slicks before....
Which looking back now they look a little too big. And here is what I have now that got sent to me from a fellow auto modeler and I don't have to cut any out of the rear wheel openings. I think they are gonna work...........very well.
Yeah.....now THAT'S more like it!

Yeah they look much better - more realistic.

Thanks Mark! I'm hoping to be on this one full steam in a couple of weeks.

Ho hum...another masterpiece, stunning realism, incredible scratch and detail work. Nothing to see here....NOT
This is going to be a one of a kind! Can't wait. New tires definitely fit better, I do like the appearance of the sidewall on the first set though.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Thanks Lyle! I have to agree with you on the sidewalls of the first set of tires because I could have gotten Eagle GT decals for those. The profile of the replacement tires makes up the difference though and I think the trade off will be worth it.

Any chance to sand them down?

I did think about that but the profile is all wrong for the tire to be displayed as an Eagle GT.
